(130/358) Beautiful sight though. Regardless of why we were heading home or being tired of snow. After San Francisco we decided to head home. Needless to say, going over the mountains and cutting across the state was not going to happen. We made it 50 miles in, and were forced to turn back due to the lack of chains on our tires. Overall, just to get home, I think We back tracked at least 100 miles...because later in the day we went to Crater Lake and the North Entrance was closed...so we had to back track from there to get back onto the freeway to go North again as well. Needless to say. The trek home was an adventure.
