TWO JACK JUMBLES


RULES


  1. JOKER CARD

  • The team Skip may call the JOKER once in each group of six ends:

    • To be called before the end starts

    • The team score for that end to be doubled.


  1. WILD CARD

  • The team Skip may call the WILD CARD once in each group of six ends:

    • To be called before the end starts

    • 2 points added to the team’s end score.


  1. The team JOKER and the team WILD CARD may not be called on the same end.


  1. The jumble token drawn will give the Rink number, the team colour and the order of play.


  1. Skips are to toss a coin to decide which team is to play first.


  1. Each team will deliver a Jack at the start of the End (2 Jacks on each rink).


  1. The Jacks are not to be centred and each Jack is to remain where it stops, even if it is in the ditch (the position to be indicated by a white golf ball).  If the Jack stops outside the rink boundaries it is to be repositioned 1 metre inside the rink at the same distance that it was delivered.


  1. The bowls to be played in accordance with the standard rules of bowling.


  1. The No 2 or No 3 player in each team will together decide the result as normal except that:

  • A bowl may count towards each Jack if it is the nearest bowl to that Jack.


  1. The Team winning the end will start the next end.


  1. 3 Groups (4 groups if time permits) of 6 ends to be played.


  1. Skips to return the Joker and Wild Card ready for the next token draw.


  1. The jumble token draw will take place again at the end of each group.


  1. Keep your individual score.
