Beckie is a professionally credited, certified dance educator. She has over 50 years of experience as a dancer, choreographer, coach, and educator. Our instructors Heather Watson, Betsy Carson, and Alexa Yohannon are qualified, progressive, and dedicated. They are trained by Beckie and attend yearly teacher workshops.
Beckie's Studio of Dance provides classes during the school
year and then a five-week summer session. Generally, we do 3
big shows a year:
- Holiday Show is in early December to celebrate the
coming winter season.
- Annual Spring Recital is a dance review to
demonstrate our progression of skills and to experience a
night of entertainment in a professional atmosphere. This
will be scheduled for the end of May or early June.
Return here periodically for other performances that might
arise. You can always check our calendars for dates and times
for practices, rehearsals, and performances.
- Union County Fair and Parade is held during the last
week of July or first week of August.
- During the Summer, we host 2 Dance Camps in June: Story Book Dance Camp for young ones and Hip-Hop Acro Camp for Juniors.
- Please watch our Announcements below for information on events, fundraisers, special performances, workshops, and competitions for Co.B dancers.
New classes are formed at the end of August. For this past
year, our Studio offered the following classes:
All classes are grouped and taught according
to skill level with an average age span of 1-3 years.
Teenagers may join a level IV or V depending on experience.
Entry auditions/selections are required for levels IV, V, and
Advanced. All classes are 50 minutes except for Tumble Ballet
classes (45 minutes), and private lessons (23-30 minutes).
