Words from the Prez for October

Post date: Oct 13, 2011 7:18:11 PM

The fall weather brings about many changes. When I think of changes, I reflect on my teaching time and I am constantly surprised how education has changed over the years. Some of the changes have been good and some not so good. Many of these changes came to be through legislation and new laws that were passed by politicians. When we turn on the television all that seems to be on the news is politics and politicians that want to be re-elected or elected to an office. My plea to you is before you vote be sure that you research

and listen to those politicians because they are who affect our educational changes. Be sure that you are educated about the candidates and who or what they represent. Don’t just listen to other people, listen to the debates, do research, and listen to their speeches. The October winner is Lee Ann Nash. Contact Kelli for your prize. Make an informed decision and vote for the person that you feel will be the best representative for the people. I know that I will be paying close attention to the political candidates.
