Old Cameras forSale Date: 03/10/2006 Time: 06:50 AM Twin Peaks This is the Gumbuz of the mosque at Bada Imambara , its amazingly beautiful . I am not much of a zoom shot man.. my normal lens is Nikon 20 mm .2.8.. I can create miracles with the range of this lens.. if I put this lens at a rectum of an ass I can shoot the intestinal arches from here to infinty.. the 20 mm is going to be my death one day as I go in as close as death can be.. I shot the Cobra festival at Battis Shirala the fangs were only a whisker away from me.. Zanjir matam shots too I shoot with this lens..I have done all my work with this beauty Nikon 20mm 2.8 AF. And the zanjir that hit my eye was my luck it took the force on the F100 and the other lens that is a zoom Nikon 35/70 2.8 AF...if it was the 20 mm I would have been one eye less., clitoral cyclopean And today after almost 4 years I have given it for servicing , the aperture was stuck.. it cost me Rs 20000 at that time. And even myNikon 80/200 Nikon ED 2.8 has slight trace of fungus , this is basically because of the blood that seeped in during my Moharam blood shedding, this lens cost me Rs 40000 4 years back , Sundar Vetkar charges me Rs 200.. for the 20 mm and slightly more for the 80/200.for servicing. And I knew a photohographer a commercial photographer Mr Kirit Modi who used to get all his equipment serviced every year and it would cost him Rs 90000/ I bought my Mamiya interchangeable lenses 180 , 65 from him for Mamiya 330..a workhorse of a great camera..American photographers still swear by it..medium format..I have C330,two of them and a single and C 220. And the prism viewfinder too.. Besides all this I have 225 old cameras for sale but cant find a good buyer.Rural American Summer Beauty
This is simply a series of shots from a small field that's used to store odd things -- parts and equipment for impending city projects, the occasional truck or boat for sale and, as you can see, scrap items. Anyway, the decay of these items was an attractive subject for me (still a big kid running around, armed with a camera, teaching myself how to use it -- one fine day I'll learn... something =), and I liked the flowers as the sort of bookends of the brief set. As always, thank you for taking a look. ^_^ These three are a mini version of the set where, in the grip of insomnia, I simply had a little bit of fun with Photoshop!
