lately I've been taking fotos with my analog cameras rather than with the digital one. but I'm still alive! life's not really exciting these days, but that's not always a bad thing, right? actually I'm thankful that things aren't stressful. a lot of people have to struggle in and with their lifes, so I'm glad things are mostly alright for me. except for that I feel completely filled up most of the time and that's kind of an issue as I lost weight again. a sunny weekend. yesterday we had family-lunch after a quite long period of not meeting up. my grandmom made apricot- and strawberry-knodel (dumplings) which is really my favourite meal (and I didn't order it, she just made them! so that meant a lot of joy for me.) and mom showed some vacation-fotos, and since it was finally sunny, we could sit outside in the garden and it was all nice. mauti and me had delicious coffee and shared a tarte aux pommes at one of my favourite places again later that day. on the top of my cafe ole there was a cute pattern which I wanted to take a picture of - sadly I had forgotten my camera (I turned all grumpy at that point) and I think, mauti rolls his eyes when I freak out about such things. but I guess he has to roll his eyes a lot, ever since I started being so freaky about food. (really, I can get the most joyful person over a slice of cake or - something much more unspectecular like when I found a new kind of organic noodles to be sold at the grocery store or something …) today we went for a walk and I enjoyed another delicious coffee and we also went to a da vinci exhibition which was rather lame and the admission fee was too high. anyway. in the afternoon I grabbed a few items (shown on the foto) and sat in the park. reading: - the newspaper which amused me a lot today (yeah, that happens sometimes) - the latest issue of "brand eins" which's cover is very cute and eye-catching this month (don't you think?). I just subscribed to that magazine so I get it monthly and it's so smart! I'm so anti-fashion magazines, even though I'm a magazine-addicted. I read a lot of design magazines which are fashion-magazines in a way too, but they inspire me and my way of creating and fill me up with new ideas. I really have an agression about typical women's fashion magazines (like vogue & co). but that is another story. I just think, if you have free time and want to relax by reading something, you should rather read something that's still gonna' be interesting in one week and which's not completely "out" and "impossible". and reading something intellectual doesn't always mean it's exhausting. anyway. listening to: - scarlett johansson "anywhere I lay my head on" - amanda palmer "who killed amanda palmer" - kings of convenience "riot on an empty street" - charlotte gainsbourg "5:55" - tori amos "strange little girls" - bob dylan "under the red sky" - gnarls barkley "st. elsewhere" eating: I am crazy about "fruchtzwege-selbstmach-eis".
