Jean-Luc Voegele serves as Executive Chef at The Westin Denver Downtown. Voegele came to the US in 1994 and served for eight years as Executive Sous Chef at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu, Hawaii followed by three years as Executive Chef at The Sonnenalp Resort in Vail, Colorado. Voegele was trained in Strasbourg, France, known for the concentration of most Michelin award-winning chefs in France, second to Paris. Raised in the Alsace Region of France, Chef Jean-Luc began his culinary training at a very young age helping his parents run the small, family-owned restaurant in the town of Mutzig. "I learned at a very early age what good food was. My parents' goal was to find the very best ways to use the ingredients and resources of the area. That philosophy has influenced my career ever since," explains Voegele Jean-Luc Voegele participates annually in the Taste of Elegance, benefiting the Denver International Wine Festival were he has won the Best Chef Award, as well as the annual Beaujolais Nouveau benefit for the French American Chamber where has won First Place Award for Appetizers for three consecutive years.

A chef since 17, Tom Coohill began his love affair with French cuisine at L’Auberge des Champs in Kentucky.  Tom trained under Master chefs at the three-star Michelin L’Oustau de Baumaniere in France, the five-star Mobile Le Francais in Illinois and Ma Maison in Los Angeles. In 1992, he opened the highly acclaimed Ciboulette restaurant, which was ranked in the top 10 by the Conde Nast Guide and in the top 25 nationwide by Esquire magazine.  Widely featured in the national media - including CNN, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal - Ciboulette maintained its place as one of America's most popular restaurants by offering masterful dishes of modern French cuisine. From 1995 to 2002, Tom also owned and operated Coohill’s Steakhouse & Bar in Atlanta. The desire to enjoy Colorado’s climate and great outdoors prompted Tom and Diane to relocate to the Mile High City

Youssef Chihab
  was raised in Casablanca Morocco and began his career as a professional soccer player in Europe, but his love and passion for hospitality brought him to the restaurant and hotel business. He soon found himself working at the renowned Four Seasons Hotel in New York City. Youssef eventually headed west, where he settled in Denver. Youssef's customer oriented management style has lead to his most recent success as Partner / Owner / Operator and Consulting and Acting Chef of La Cave Wine Bar & Boutique in Lakewood, Colorado.  His previous endeavors include General Manager of Zink Kitchen + Bar at the Doubletree Hotel Denver Tech, General Manager of Mel's Restaurant, a Colorado legend for over 30 years, and just before that, marketing director and manager at Venice Restaurant in Denver’s lower downtown.
