Probus Club of Beaconsfield was formed in 1986 as a club for retired and semi-retired professional and businessmen

Beaconsfield Town Hall

We invite speakers on a wide range of topics.

Meetings are held twice a month, on the mornings of the second and fourth Thursday of the month at Revolution, Maxwell Road in the centre of Beaconsfield New Town.

For our meetings, the hall is open from 9.45am and coffee and tea are served from 10.00am. The meeting opens at 10.30am with Club business, followed by a talk from the day's guest speaker, which lasts between 45 to 60 minutes, followed by questions. The bar is then opened and many of our members like to remain and socialise.

Once per month, on a show of hands, an informal lunch is arranged to follow the meeting at a selected local hostelry.

When there is a fifth Thursday in the month, we arrange for our ladies to have their own meeting with a speaker, followed by lunch for those who wish to participate.

There is a full programme of very well-supported social events and outings throughout the year, to which wives and partners are warmly invited.

•There is a ceiling to our membership numbers, but we would always welcome enquiries for membership.
