Making Easter Eggs
Making Easter Eggs in our home today. We did the Paas kits a while ago with the kids. Today we work on Pysanky eggs. I just take pictures the artistic better half does the decorating. From a "How to Decorate Beautiful Ukranian Easter Eggs (Pysanky) With Luba" kit/dvd. In this phase the egg has been decorated fully and the beeswax is removed from the egg by heating the side with flame and then wiping off the melted wax.
we used acrylic paints mostly, we did by the cheap dying kit but ended up using mainly the acrylics to paint our eggs. We then embelished with glitter, ribbon etc. we had a mess of fun! *smile*
