Vintage Inn - Courtyard
Vintage Inn - Courtyard
This is a view looking down the courtyard at the Vintage Inn in Yountville where we stayed for a night. Each room is part of a 4-room building and decorated in a French-country style with rich French fabrics, a private balcony and an oversized sunken whirlpool bathtub stocked with luxurious lavender salts, soaps and candles. The two rooms on the upper floors of each building have vaulted beamed ceilings with a ceiling fan - a nice touch! Our room was right at the very end of this courtyard on an upper floor. The entire inn's grounds were full of little touches that reminded me of Provence. (Sidenote: I've never actually been to Provence, so I'm exercising a little bit of creative liberty here in assuming that this is what the Provence countryside would look like or so I would imagine).
Teddy Bears in every room
Teddy Bears in every room
You can adopt them if you wish, for a price of course. I chose not to - I found a lavender filled bear at a shop that I brought home instead!
