Please consider joining your colleagues in a fun and challenging 2 weeks of learning with technology. You will explore powerful new ways of using technology in your classes, learn about some amazing tools, and finish the class with a ready-to-go learning unit that you can use in your online or face to face classes.
This workshop is a two week commitment, where the first week will be done face to face, on the main BC Campus, and the second week will be done online. You can complete the online portion of the workshop from the location of your choosing, provided you have access to the Internet.
Week 1 Schedule:
Monday (May 13) - Thursday (May 16), 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
(we will take a lunch break somewhere around the middle of each day)
Week 2 (May 20-24):
During this week, you will be asked to coordinate one meeting with a smaller workgroup via Skype or another technology. The time will be flexible.
You will spend the majority of this week working on your project, and checking out other faculty projects.
Space is Limited!
A few quick facts about this workshop:
We do ask that anyone who participates in the workshop be willing to consider sharing their project(s) at a short brown bag session (10-15 min) during the 2013-2014 year.
