  • Design and Desserts - Thank you

Yesterday the Women in Engineering groups of UBC, SFU and BCIT invited all female engineering students to participate in a fun night of art and mingling! The girls enjoying an evening of fantastic collaborative art creation and dessert nibbling, while getting to know their counterparts at other schools! Overall, this event was a smashing success and we hope to do more work with UBC and SFU Women in Engineering clubs in the future! Thank you to everyone who came out, and a special thank you to Vicki Asada, Marita Luk and Rishi Gupta for the space, food and goodie bags. Photos of the event can now be seen in the Gallery.

 What is Women in Engineering?

Our goal is to promote engineering education and careers for women and to provide a support group for women at BCIT who are thinking about or already in the engineering profession

Through participating in and organizing community events, promoting engineering at high schools, and organizing a mentoring program the club hopes to see an increase in female engineer enrollment in BCIT engineering programs. BCIT currently offers Bachelor of Engineering programs Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering. See the About page for more information.

Our events are free and open to everyone. Join us!
