This Year's memory verse:
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.

 It has been a great year.  I have truly enjoyed being the 7th & 8th grade teacher for the past 14 years.  The Lord has blessed me richly with the relationships built with students, parents, and staff through the years.  I am looking forward to my new positon as principal and am also thankful I still will be teaching math to the 5th, 6th 7th, and 8th grade students.  Change is exciting and rewarding.  Have a great summer!

The Prayer Garden is OPEN!  Feel free to stop in and visit any time.  I will notify students of work days as they are scheduled.  We hope to mulch over the summer and install the "freelittlelibrary" box once it is ready.

There is a new Schwan's fundraiser beginning May 20 and running through the summer months.  The funds from this will be used to help replace our volleyball net and referee stand.  Be sure to purchase an e-card on Schwans-cares. We earn 40% on that purchase and 20% on the purchases for the next 3 months! Link:  www.schwans-cares.com/c/27435

 Blessings on your week, Beth

 A look at next week:

HELP PAVE THE WAY FOR PRAYER!   You can still add a permanent paving brick to our Prayer Garden!  The 7th & 8th Grade Service Project this year is to continue working on the Prayer Garden.  You can purchase a personalized brick for the garden.  You can even create it online and see what it will look like! You may also make general donations to go towards the garden if you want.  Payments can be made online or at school. This is an ongoing project.  Thank you! Online ordering site:
