This section outlines the various activities being undertaken to help finance the new development in the school.

Please find below three documents that were distributed in early November to highlight some of the activities being undertaken during the year.

Please note that they were created using Microsoft Publisher and are in 'page printing' order.
The Word document is for completing a Standing Order. Instructions for it's use and return are on the sheet.

In CONCERT East Cork Choral Society and Bandonbridge N.S. Pupils

Two years ago East Cork Choral Society put on a beautiful evening’s entertainment with the help of Bandonbridge National School pupils.

On May 22nd at 8pm they make a welcome return, the musical director of the group is Colin Nicholls will be introducing and conducting the programme. On this occasion they will be accompanied by Stephen Nicholls (French horn) and Ian Sexton (piano). They have  again invited the pupils from 3rd to 6th class to do a couple of performances, the pupils have had several practices of the pieces under Colin's tuition in preparation for the evening.  

This will be an entertaining evening, great for all the family, please bring along extended family, friends and neighbours. 

Refreshments will be provided by the Parents Association 

Tickets are available from school secretary and at the door on the night. 

The East Cork Choral Society is kindly donating all proceeds to  

Bandonbridge National School building fund.

Easter Egg Hunt - Sunday 22nd March

Have fun and enjoy the out doors at the same time, Easter Egg Hunt is open to Bandonbridge pupils, friends and relatives. 

Come from 2.30p.m, wear  suitable clothing and footwear, be ready to go on a hunt through the woods for coloured eggs at 3p.m. sharp, the hunt will begin to the sound of a horn, when the hunt is over the children will  exchange their coloured eggs for chocolate eggs. 

Refreshments will be available and BBQ sausages

 All children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Please  respect the environment and do not pick flowers or drop litter, the hunt will take place in woods, therefore there will  be uneven ground, fallen branches etc.

This event will take place weather permitting.

Tickets are available 
  • School gate at drop off and pick up times
  • Hickey's, South Main Street, Bandon
  • Orla 086 8697472 or and we can arrange alternative pick up point.
There will be artisan stalls for the audience to visit when the doors open at 6.30pm. These will include: Ummerra Smoke House, Katie's Chocolate, Irish Atlantic Sea Salt, Harty's Food, The Natural Larder Company, Seymours of Cork (based in Bandon), Bluebell Fall Goats Cheese, Caherbeg Free Range Pork, Ballyhoura Juices and Orchard Cottage Goats Cheese.
At 7.30pm Clodagh will demonstrate how to prepare and cook a number of delicious recipes which will be revealed on the day.

September 29th to Thursday 2nd October Unwanted Clothes Collection

Recycle and support the building fund. 
Gather together any clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels, soft toys. ( Any condition once they are clean) and Mobile Phones.
