- ELA Skill of the Week- Proofreading: Read 2-3 pages a day of the short story "Francine Fribble, Proofreading Policewoman" Edit errors using proofreading skills.
- Math- Mountain Math- 5 problems a day on mixed concepts and skills.

Week of 12/11/17-12/15/17:
Bell/ Morning Work:
- ELA skill of the week- Quotation Marks. Read 2-3 pages a day of the Short Story- "The Mystery of the Missing Socks" then edit sentences by adding quotation marks where needed with understanding of different uses of quotation marks.
- Math- Mountain Math- 5 problems a day on mixed concepts and skills.
Daily:
- i-Ready & Achieve 3000 computerized interventions.
For Achieve 3000:
- Must read and chart 1st try scores into self-monitoring graph of progress.
For i-Ready-
- Must complete a minimum of 45 minutes a week in both Math and Reading
- i-Ready Benchmarking Assessments start 12/13/17 through 1/3/117

Week of 12/4/17-12/8/17 :
Bell/Morning Work: ELA skill of the week- Commas. Read the short story "When Comma Came to Town" then proofread sentences daily by using commas where needed.
Math- Mountain Math: 5 problems a day on mixed concepts
Daily: i-Ready & Achieve 3000; must complete, chart & graph progress on at least two Achieve articles per week
Review CBM previous assessments- review each problem and re-learn/model/review concepts and skills to solve
Regular Education classes- Homework & assignments- 7th grade Book Report due 12/7/17
Week of 11/27-12/1-
Bell Work:
ELA- Final paragraph on Theme and completing a graphic organizer on Theme with text evidence. Then, start Main Idea with one paragraph a day. Final paragraph with graphic organizer on Main Idea.
Math- Daily Math problems- 5 per day with mixed concepts each day
Daily- i-Ready and Achieve 3000 interventions
Week of 11/6-11/10:
Bell Work: 1 paragraph a day on Theme & 5 questions a day in Daily Math
Finish taking CBM assessments.
Work on Regular Classes' assignments- 7th: Mr. Ferguson's 10 Amendment project due this Friday, RICE Constructed Response due in Math this Friday, Book Reports in ELA due 12/7/17. 6th: Start Book Reports for ELA due 11/16 & Current Events for Science due 11/30. Study/Review for Math test this week on Module 1, Topics A-D, Lessons 1-15

Week of 10/30-11/3:
Monday-Friday- Morning/Bell Work 5 questions per day in Mountain Language & Daily Math.
Start CBM assessments.
Regular Classes' assignments: 7th: Start Book Reports; Keyboarding Power Points (All About Me); Mr. Ferguson's 10 Amendment Project
6th: Math Homework assignments & Review for upcoming test next week, Test in Social Studies

Monday, Thursday & Friday- Morning/Bell Work 5 questions per day in Mountain Language & 16 questions in Math. Then Growth Monitoring Checks in i-Ready are assigned for all students to take to see progress in i-Ready.
Tuesday- IEP Training & Thursday- Teacher will be absent due to out of town Doctor's appointment. Alternate work will be given with one 2 page packet per day on review/basic math skills with no calculator. This alternate work will be gone over whole group when I return.

Monday-Friday Bell Work:
ELA: "R.P.R. Review, Practice, Remember!" adaptation from Mountain Language= Five questions per day on reviewing grammar/ELA and writing skills.
Math: Weekly Skill of Length, Comparing and Ordering by Length and other measurements.
Monday- Teacher has a doctor's appointment. Students are to do i-Ready, Achieve 3000 and/or IXL on alternate.

Tuesday- Finish 6th grade math test. Complete 1 Achieve3000 article and students track their scores, with the date, title of article, and make a bar or line graph with results of at least 2 articles a day in order to see their own growth through out the year with a common goal of increasing by one reading grade level by the end of the school year.
Wednesday- CMB Assessment Results reviewing skills in ORF (Oral Reading Fluency), MAZE (Reading Comprehension), M-COMP ( Math Computations) & M-CAP (Math Concepts and Applications. Complete another Achieve 3000 article today or tomorrow and chart it.
Thursday- CMB Assessment Results reviewing skills in ORF (Oral Reading Fluency), MAZE (Reading Comprehension), M-COMP ( Math Computations) & M-CAP (Math Concepts and Applications.
Friday- Finish Word Wall activity. Student are to write words on sticky notes that relate to the given word typed on colorful pieces of card-stock. For example, the word "addition"- sticky notes can be +, plus, altogether, sum, total, etc. Card-stock papers will be displayed in the classroom and have the objective of expanding students' vocabulary and a resource to continue to add on to throughout the school year.

Monday: Fall Break
Tuesday-Thursday:
- Morning Work for the week 6th and 7th: 1 Reading Comprehension Story read and answer questions daily based off of CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.2, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.3, CCSS-ELA-Literacy.RI.4 Standards and Objectives.
- 6th grade Math: Reviewing Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday for Module 1, Topic A, Lessons 1-8 for Math Test on Friday.

- Regular education classes' assignments not completed in class- extended time. Ex) Mrs. Blanchard's Early Finisher work due Thursday for a grade-Fraction Houses sheet; Mrs. Allemand's Constructed Response (C.R.) with RICE strategy is due for a grade Friday (7th)
WEDNESDAY 9/27:
- Teacher will be absent due to out of town doctor's appointment. Students were given two packets for Alternate work Tuesday, yesterday 9/25.
- 1st packet: "Good Morning Work" packet- two pages: Reading #19 & Math #21.
- 2nd packet: Monday-Friday Contractions; Monday & Tuesday were done in class today for review, and students are to complete Wednesday-Friday independently while on Alternate.
