Good morning all. I received an email from our regent registrar stating the below.
"This season, ALL players will need to be verified. Regardless of the team they are on, house or tournament bound, or initiation…everyone needs to verify."
To " verify" I will need a copy of you birth certificate. Some of you have provided them in the past and they will already be in the USAHockey system when I register. I will try to respond early enough to let you know if you have upon registration. However if you know you have not provided one in the past, please forward me a copy via email. I will create a file to send to Susan and immediately erase my file once completed.
The Blizzard Board has met with coaches and set the following structures for the upcoming 2016-17 season:
· We will have 3 team age-divided teams next season – Developmental/8U Select, 12U and 16U.
· All 3 teams will practice twice each week on shared ice.
· 12U and 16U will also include 1 – 2 full ice practices per month.
· Head coaches are: Dev/8U Select – Tim Miller; 12U – Ed King; 16U – Herb Griffith
More detailed information about pricing will follow once the 2016-17 budget is finalized in the next two months. The next Board meeting is May 10 at 6:15 PM if you have any comments, or you may contact any board member.

The Annual Blizzard Banquet will be held March 31 from 5:30-9:00 at Terra Cotta, Binghamton. Please see your Team Manager for information. Voting for the Board will take place that night. A live auction fund raiser is being held at the Ice House on April 9th at 7:00 PM. If you can solicit and donate items please contact Mike Rogers at the Ice House or a Board Member.
Saturday drill sessions will be held on Saturday mornings at the Ice House Sports Complex. All local youth players are invited to participate, including Blizzard and STHA. 8U (mites) and 10U (squirt) will run from 8:00AM-9:30AM, and all others (12U and up) (pee wee +) will run from 9:30AM-11:00AM. The cost is $10 per child per session, payable to Mike Rogers (cash) prior to getting on the ice. Any coaches interested in helping out please contact Patrick Basile (email@example.com). Kids of coaches who assist get to skate for free in that session.
The Ice House Sports Complex will have breakfast items available for purchase in the upstairs restaurant during these sessions.

The annual Blizzard pancake breakfast is scheduled for Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 8:00 - 10:00 AM at Applebee's on Upper Front St., Binghamton. Adult volunteers are needed to help sell 50-50 tickets and basket raffles and to help organize the players who will serve the customers. Players and families will be given ten tickets to sell by their team manager. Please contact Ben Paige at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

First- A reminder that all families need to have complete the parent education. It will be offered only 3 times and mandatory for participation in practices -in BCC Ice Center, at players entrance of the Arena. Last opportunity will be on at BCC starting at . Meeting is only about 10 mins long
Second - The Blizzard Girls are singing the National Anthem at the firstname.lastname@example.orgSenator's game. This is a BIG opportunity for the organization to showcase our program. It's also the night the 10u/12U will be skating during the intermission. Rehearsal will begin right after practice night at both BCC and Arena. It's Blizzard Night at the B Sens game on Saturday, October 24th! Each registered player gets a free ticket and any friends or family can use the link below for a discount ticket at $14. The Blizzard will have pre-game and post-game interactions with the B Sens as well as seeing one of our teams skate during intermission. We'll even have two girls skating the B Sens flags prior to the Sens taking the ice. The more tickets we buy the more activities the girls get to do so spread the word!
