Fundraising

The Binghamton Blizzard Girls Hockey Association offers a multitude of fundraising opportunities that benefit the team and individual players.  Organizational fundraisers including chicken barbecues, pancake breakfasts, bottle drives, and the Binghamton Senators Slap Shot Den help defray ice costs for all girls involved in the program.  In addition, we offer individual fundraisers including Gertrude Hawk chocolate sales and our Yearbook Ad Sales that assist players with annual fees.  Our organization has a volunteer policy requiring each player's family to volunteer for a total of 8 hours during the season.  Individual and team opportunities are listed below.

Upcoming Fundraising Events

October - April
BSENS Slap Shot Den
We ask each player's family to run the Slap Shot Den once during the season.  One session equals three hours of volunteer credit.  See the Slap Shot Den page for more details.

Now - Jan.15, 2016
 Yearbook Ad Sales

The Blizzard Ad Program includes photos of individual players and teams, our sponsors, and the Happy Ads and Business Ads.

How it works – By selling Happy Ads and/or Business Ads, you get 100% of the money back towards the current season’s player’s fees.  The only exception is that the first $30 of your sales over $50 goes towards the printing costs of the booklets, or $10 if your sales are under $50.
The deadline for print ads is Friday, 01/15/16.
Families need to mail ad order forms and checks to: Binghamton Blizzard Girls Hockey Association    PO Box 559, Vestal NY 13850.
