Fundraising

The Binghamton Blizzard Girls Hockey Association offers a multitude of fundraising opportunities that benefit the team and individual players.  Organizational fundraisers including chicken barbecues, pancake breakfasts, bottle drives, and the Binghamton Senators Slap Shot Den help defray ice costs for all girls involved in the program.  In addition, we offer individual fundraisers including Gertrude Hawk chocolate sales and our Yearbook Ad Sales that assist players with annual fees.  Our organization has a volunteer policy requiring each player's family to volunteer for a total of 8 hours during the season.  Individual and team opportunities are listed below.

B Devils Slap Shot Den

 Raffle

Each player will be given 5 raffle tickets. Tickets cost $25 each. You can sell them and get more if needed. Do not sell them without adult supervision. You can sign up to sell them during Devils games by going to the page to the left. Prizes depend on the number sold. If 300 or more are sold then thr four prizes are fixed at $1500, 750, 500, 250, otherwise it's based on the percentages of 25%, 12.5%, 7.5%, 5% of sales.

 Applebee's Pancake Breakfast

Upper Front St.
Blizzard girls act as servers and cleaners. Parents assist in kitchen, at the door, and with serving. In addition, teams donate items for raffle baskets. A 50/50 raffle will also take place during the event. Tickets will be distributed to the players.
