The Bayou Discovery Science Camp is an interactive half-day camp for students between 1st and 7th grades. Each student is expected to participate in all experiments. Students are encouraged to get their hands dirty.

The camp activities are planned for different age groups. The 1st and 2nd graders work together,as do the 3rd and 4th graders. The last group includes 5th - 7th graders. Each group is lead by one faculty member. Each group will perform experiments suited to that age level and associated with disciplines from difference science disciplines.

Some experiments are held inside the ULM Museum of Natural History, or at various buildings on the ULM campus. Some activities require campers to be outside. Students are offered a single small snack each day.

To register a student, please download the registration packet, below. Complete all the registration material (including the student signature page) and return to Dr. Allison Wiedemeier or Ms. Debbie Pierot along with payment by June 4, 2014 to hold a seat in the camp.
