Apartments Evacuated
Residents had to be evacuated from an apartment block in south Dublin today when the roof of the building blew off. The incident happened at Sandyford View in Sandyford at around half past eleven this morning. Approximately twenty people were evacuated and no one was injured. Substantial damage was caused to the building while a number of cars in the area were also damaged. It's not clear at this stage why the roof blew off but it's thought to have been caused by strong winds. Text courtesy of Irish Independent.
We left Pearland around 11am on Thursday and evacuated to Austin. Mason and Danielle were fine on the road. We also had the dogs with us in the car and they did well. Matt was riding right behind us.
