Welcome to the Bartow Beekeepers

Cartersville, Georgia

About Us:
Bartow Beekeepers is a group of beekeepers from Bartow County and the surrounding area including Floyd, Gordon, Cherokee, Cobb, Paulding and Polk Counties.  Our membership is 40+ beekeepers ranging from their first year to 50 years.  Bartow Beekeepers meet each third Tuesday night in Cartersville, Georgia in the Bartow County Extension Office (see below).

Our meetings try to cover all aspects of keeping honeybees.  Each month we teach what should be happening in your hives and what the beekeeper should be doing for their bees.  We have mentoring for our novice beekeepers, pairing them up with experienced beekeepers.

Visitors always welcome, come and see.

News:  Bartow Beekeepers is donating several new beekeeping books to the Cartersville Library and a national beekeeping magazine, "The American Bee Journal".
