Acrylic Paint Skin - RuthArt
I've been trying to make skins from acrylic paint and it seems that everything I put it on, doesn't let me get it back off. I've tried glass, trash bags, some sort of cutting board (thin plastic) since I can't find any HDPE that's inexpensive. I found some palette paper (plastic coated paper for will probably stick!!) but I used up some old craft paints to make this. It's about 8x10. When it dries, I don't know what I'll do with it, but I love it!! lol I really like the blue in the middle....that's pearl paint....has some neat patterns in it, huh?

This is the final painting for my grandaughter Allyson. She requested most of the things in the picture. even the little cell phone on the arm of her chair...almost too small to see. I find acrylics are easier to use than oils and don't have to vent the room so much.
