BYB is excited to begin our 15th Year of BHS Feeder basketball!

As always, we feel that we provide not only the best basketball education for your sons but also the consistent emphasis on school, respect, discipline and teamwork that will help them with life lessons that will shape their future.  We feel strongly that their basketball experience will give them the best opportunity to be successful in a few years at Barrington High School.

We’ve made a few changes to the program this year in an attempt to get the season off to a flying start, as follows:

  • Fall Skills will begin earlier than in past years, and will open to players in Grades 5th through 8th — six sessions that begin on Wednesday, September 6th.  All are welcome including those players that participate in other sports during the fall or winter seasons.

  • Winter Travel team Try-outs for Grades 5th through 8th will be held on September 27th and 30th.  (Participation in Fall Skills is NOT required to try out.)

  • Winter Travel season begins on October 1st and extends through March 15th 2018.  This year we are becoming an “All Tourney” program which will included participation in up to 14 One Day tournaments.

Players are not required to participate in Fall Skills to be eligible for try-outs or to make a team, although we suggest participation if possible in order to knock-off the rust and prepare for the Winter season.

We're really looking forward to seeing you and your sons for another great year of BYB.
