You may download the following pdf files at the bottom of this page :
2012 About is a double sided A5 handout giving introductory information about Barrett's Wessex, the Barrett's Oesophagus Campaign and Action Against Heartburn. A useful leaflet for anyone fundraising to give to potential sponsors.
Our 2013 BW booklet is an 8 page booklet produced for NHS Information Prescription Service describing what Barrett's Wessex provides for patients and doctors as well as a summary of what is Barrett's Oesophagus and its treatment.
We also have a smaller leaflet 2014 About BW which is A5 size (double sided folded A4 sheet) which simply says who Barrett's Wessex are and what we do.
It is important these are printed at 100% so they may be cut into individual items. The sheets contain 5 paired obverse and reverse images. If the page is turned over and reinserted in your printer, you should end up with 10 double sided cards from each A4 sheet. Printed plastic versions of these cards may be collected at drop-in sessions (see Activities in your area for dates) or by sending an SAE to Barrett's, 6 Braeside Crescent, Southampton, SO19 7AZ.
The 2014 Too Many Antacids leaflets are double sided A5 carry the photograph of a supermarket antacids shelf on the front with the question, "Do you buy too many of these?"
The back carries our contact details.
The 2014 "What we Do" provides 3 copies per sheet of our "What we Do" banner you may see at fairs, fêtes, fundraising and social events.
The 2014 "What is Barrett's" leaflet is the Barrett's Wessex version of the leaflet produced by Barrett's Oesophagus Campaign but carrying Barrett's Wessex and BOC contact details on page 4 and omitting pages 5 and 6.
The BOC version, and it's companion download, "Treatments for Barrett's" may be downloaded from the BOC website here.
The 2014 Heartburn, GORD, BO and AODC leaflet provides a brief description of these conditions on 2 sides of A4.
The two sides of A4 provide information for patients on Heartburn and cancer risks.
The 2014 AAH Patient information flyer contains the same information as the AAH Patient Information sheet above but in a handy tri-fold (DL size) double sided A4 format.
The Barrett's Briefing Document produced by Barrett's Oesophagus Campaign in October 2013, written by top gastroenterologist consultants and empidemiologists, for Action Against Heartburn, presents the facts and figures regarding risk factors for development and further progression of Barrett's Oesophagus.
BarrettsInfo.pdf, which formed the basis of a useful site that has had to close due to lack of funding. We make it available for download here with thanks to the Ryan Hill Research Foundation as a valuable work of reference. (NB. American spellings are used and this is a few years old now with more recent techniques, such as HALO missing.)
