Members
We only store personal information about you when you register with us by means of a membership application form, a personal request at a drop-in session or other meeting, or by postal, telephonic or electronic communication. The types of personal information we collect will usually consist of your name, email address, postal address and telephone number but may include other personal information if specifically supplied by you, for example specific interests such as fundraising or research, that may be considered useful for our charitable purposes.
We will use your personal information to provide you with occasional announcements, news items and newsletters as agreed by you at the time of registration.
We take appropriate measures to ensure that the personal information disclosed to us is kept in a secure database on our own servers with access limited to our secretary and chairman.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies in your personal information corrected. If your personal details change, please help us to keep your information up to date by emailing secretary@BarrettsWales.org.uk
Non members
We will also hold contact details for non members specifically requesting to receive news mailings from us and used solely for that purpose with details again held securely and accessible only by secretary and chairman and admin at Barrett's UK for administrative purposes only.
Transient contacts
If you contact us for information or to make a purchase, we will hold your contact details and any other information you provide, for sufficient time to comply with your request. Unless otherwise advised, we will not retain that information after use.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement. If we do so, we will post notice of the change on this website.
