I am a Research Scientist at the Dept. of Brain Robot Interface, Computational Neuroscience Laboratories of ATR International, Kyoto, Japan. My research activities are mainly aimed at acquiring core competences in the field of floating-base robotic and human-robot symbiotic systems. I have been focusing on humanoid locomotion control and dynamics, bipedal and quadruped motion generation, active orthoses and exoskeletons, robotic rehabilitation and power augmentation, industrial manipulators, force and impedance/admittance control.
