The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Program conceptualized in 2004 was institutionalized in 2007 by

Board Regulation No. 5,s. of 2007. The general objective of the program is to promote people

empowerment in leading a healthy lifestyle that is drug-free and productive. The BKD has four (4)

phases – launching seminar, capability building, implementation of formulated action plans and

monitoring and evaluation.

The logo means that Bangcud National High School is an institution that will cater the needs of its

learner in order for them to learn and be busy with varied school activities.

Their stay in our school will be meaningful because of the friendship and bond that the BKD will offer.

With this, learners don’t have ample time to think that they are going to engage in drug abuse and other vices

because strong relationship and respect within circle of friends will be strengthen.

We will then be an advocate against the number one dilemma of our country.
