You say you want a revolution. Well you know, We all want to change the world. You tell me that it's evolution. Well you know, We all want to change the world. M / Day 45 - July 13th, 2009. M is for Makeup. And Muscles. (or lack thereof.) I have no upper body strength. At all. Seriously, if I'm ever attacked by anything more than a kitten, I'm going to die. It's just a fact I've had to accept. And I have such an incredible love-hate relationship with makeup that I cannot even begin to describe it to you. Long story short: I couldn't decide between the two of them. I'm digging diptychs lately so I gave it a try. And although they don't work together, I like them. So take it. My mother brought home vitamin pills yesterday and is insisting that I take them. They're large enough to sedate a gorilla. They're deceiving because they're green so you think they'd be minty. When in actuality, they taste like gorilla. :( Tori and I are going downtown on Wednesday. I'm hoping for some good shots, so keep your fingers crossed. :) (Bebeee, I want you to make your next tattoo appointment while we're down there!!!) Secret 28: I often fear that I'll never be able to achieve my career objectives, not because of academic obstacles, or a lack of opportunities, but rather because of basic fundamental flaws within myself. In other words, I feel like the only thing that could really hold me back is me, who I am at my very core. Things that I could never do to change or have any control over. That's pretty disappointing.
5 1/2 hours of face and body painting. I will hopefully never have to do this again, I can't concentrate for that long.

Dermatologic Complications with Body Art: Tattoos, Piercings and Permanent Make-Up
Body piercings, tattoos, and permanent make-up have become very popular as a fashion statement in recent decades. This book guides the reader through the world of body art. An overview is first provided of the history and epidemiology of tattoos and piercings. Subsequent chapters go on to examine in detail the materials and devices used in various forms of body art, and the techniques employed. All relevant risks and potential complications are clearly described with the aid of color illustrations. Special attention is paid to allergic reactions and the management of complications. The closing chapter examines the techniques and devices used for tattoo removal, with a particular focus on the use of different lasers.
