Mastering the Nikon D90
The Nikon D90 is the long-awaited upgrade to the popular D80 digital SLR. The D90 sits between the D60 and D300 in Nikon's DSLR lineup, though many of its features come from its more expensive sibling.

In this book, Darrell Young provides a wealth of information and professional insights for owners of this powerful new camera. Each chapter explores the features and capabilities of the D90 in detail, surpassing basic user manuals by providing step-by-step menu setting adjustments coupled with illustrations and logical explanations for each option. Darrell Young's writing style allows the reader to follow directions in a friendly and informative manner, as if a friend dropped in to share his experienced knowledge without "talking down" to you, explaining the how and the why.

Darrell gives special emphasis to the amazing HD movie capabilities of the D90, which create new possibilities for the creative photographer.

Mastering the Nikon D90 is the fourth volume in the highly successful series of Nikonians Press camera books.

In my last trip to Ireland I managed to destry a good part of my photo equipment. Three flashes sunk in the water when shooting near shore and the D80 with the Sigma 10-20 lens got splashed when this big moron stepped onto a rock and almost dove into the water. Not completely, yet enough to make camera and lens drink a nice sip of salty liquid. The result has been a complete disaster. Yesterday I got a phone call from Nikon and Reflecta, Sigma's distributor, telling that both gear were useless and to fix them would cost me as much as buying new stuff. This afternoon, Visa in hand I entered a large retailer in Madrid and slid the magic card into the money sucking machine, In exchange of a good amount of valuable euros I got my new combo. Just had time to set the menu to suit my taste and put the whole thing under a couple of umbrellas to grab few frames. Here they are, both immaculate and new, I hope they will last for a long time and stay out of the water....

Nikon WC-E63 Wide-Angle Converter Lens for Nikon 4300 & 4500 Digital Cameras
One of the most frustrating problems facing any digital photographer is the inability to fit an entire group of people or breathtaking landscape scene in the picture. While you can't remove the standard Coolpix lens and replace it as you can on an interchangeable lens SLR camera, you can quickly and easily attach this accessory wide-angle lens onto the camera's built-in lens to get the results you want. The Nikon WC-E63 converter increases the wide-angle view of your lens by a magnification of 0.63x to offer enhanced coverage equivalent to that of a 24mm lens on a 35mm SLR. Both autofocus and auto-exposure functions are retained. In addition, it accepts 72mm filters thereby offering even more creative options. Matching the optical design of this accessory lens to their camera's prime lens, resulted in Nikon's creating the highest quality wide-angle lens attachment possible for the Nikon Coolpix 775, 995, 990, 950, 910, 900, 900s, 800, 880, 885, 4300 and 4500 cameras. Please note that the WC-E63 directly attaches onto the 28mm filter threads of the Nikon Coolpix 4500, 995, 990, 950, 910, 900, 900s, and 800 cameras but requires the Nikon UR-E4 Adapter (not included) for the Nikon Coolpix 4300 and 885 cameras and requires the Nikon UR-E2 Adapter (not included) for the Nikon Coolpix 880 and requires the Nikon UR-E3 Adapter (not included) for Nikon Coolpix 775.
