RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • The use of optical, near-infrared and mid-infrared photometry and spectra to determinate the reliable and precise characteristics of M dwarf stars, for their comprehensive study and the proper characterization of their exoplanets.
  • Characterization of nearby low-mass stars and brown dwarfs in young associations.
  • Exploration of exoplanet/brown dwarf detection techniques for stellar science.

  • 21 refereed papers (4 as leading author) published between 2009 and the present date (including A&A, ApJ, AJ, and MNRAS); 
  • 8 articles in the proceedings of scientific conferences/workshops (4 as leading author);
  • Citations in refereed papers: ∼947 citations in ADS, with an average of 65.3 citations per refereed paper (an average of ∼56 citations per first author refereed paper).
