Current Projects:
Current Projects:
Realistic Data Synthesis Using Enhanced Generative Adversarial Networks [done]
To generate realistic synthetic data so that people can use it freely
The induced synthetic data would be not only statistically sound but also good enough for application purposes, e.g., machine learning tasks
Exploring Foursquare Venue Popularity and its temporal variation [done]
Which are the popular venues
What kinds of venues are popular
Finding temporal variations of popularity
Analyzing venue popularity
Sampling Social Network Structure for Efficient Influence Maximization [done]
Sometimes for a large social graph, it is very time-consuming to find out the seed set using the traditional influence maximization algorithms. The aim of this project is to find out a representative sample graph that shows nearly the same result (seeds) as the original graph.
Building Social Network from Reddit-Comment Dataset and Analysis its Social Network Properties [done]
Construct a social network
Validate the social network by analyzing its social properties
Finding communities and evaluating them
