Casual Hamptons elegance: Roman shades + grass cloth wallpaper + antique painting, from Elle Décor
In the living room of Scott Currie's Southampton home, an 18th-century Belgian portrait of a sea mariner hangs above a sofa upholstered in Back to Basics linen-cotton, in blue grey, by Great Plains. The antique lantern was a Paris flea-market find, and the vintage glass domes display egg collections. The walls are covered in Madagascar grass cloth, in natural, by Hinson & Co. The house was built in 1899, for a captain who had recently returned to Southampton. Currie spent four years renovating it -- check out the before-and-after shots of his kitchen, bedroom, and attic!
