2003 Suzuki SV1000S -- "streetfightered"
I spent over $4400 in custom parts (mostly from Europe) to make this SV1000S more "streetable", but I simply could not get it comfortable enough for my liking. I sold it for a big loss a few years later. Suzuki would have had a real winner if they offered the SV1000S with better street-friendly ergos, similar to the SV1000 "N" (naked) model. Ultimately, I think the high pegs were the real killer for me. Note the high quality stainless steel Fuel exhaust cannisters (U.K.), Suzuki tank bra, front fender extender (U.K.), Hamicad rear fender eliminator (U.K.), LSL "Superbike" handlebars in aircraft-grade aluminum (Germany), LSL stainless steel barend weights (Germany), Rizoma aluminum billet mirrors (Italy), delrin frame sliders (Sato Racing of Japan), and Puig carbon look hugger (Spain). You can also see the GIVI topbox mounting plate (Italy) attached to a silver SW-Motech aluminum top rack (Germany).
