My Nikon N80 35mm autofocus SLR. Originally made in the early 2000s, but discontinued a few years back - too bad, too, since I really like this camera. I originally bought an N65, but it didn't have all of the features I wanted, so I got one of these soon after. I do enjoy using this camera - almost as much as I enjoy using my FM2...almost. Its very useful for quick shooting, though, since my FM2 does take quite a bit longer to focus and adjust! I also have the MB16 battery grip attached, since I hate using those specialized batteries. Shown with the following lenses: Nikon AF Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 lens (wideangle) Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 lens (normal - attached) Nikon AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 lens (short telephoto) Nikon AF Nikkor 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 (zoom) The zoom lens is currently just for show - it broke after it rolled off of a chair and onto a hardwood floor. I don't consider that too much of a loss, though, since I wasn't very fond of the lens anyways. Its got a plastic bayonet ring (seriously? PLASTIC!?!), but the most annoying thing about it is the pathetic maximum aperture settings. It only works at f/4.5 at 80mm; anywhere over that, and it jumps up to the f/5.6. I realize that this is fairly typical for zoom lenses and for longer telephotos, but its still annoying, since it makes the lens very difficult to use in poor lighting conditions. Since I got the 85mm lens to shoot in low lighting condtions, I'm probably going to get a fixed 200mm lens, instead.
New Stove
New Stove
We debated for a while about getting a new stove. Our previous stove was a drop in model. We weren't planning on getting a new stove but once we started making counter top plans we realized that small piece of counter that was behind our drop in stove was going to cost us around 300 bucks. We ended up getting a great deal on a discontinued model at Lowes and saved ourselves that square footage on the counter.
