Prep Time 1Hour and 30 Minutes (After Marinating Rice and Mung bean for 6 hours or longer)
Bamboo Rice
Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked sweet rice after soaking 6 hours add 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt mix well
1/2 cup uncooked mung bean after soaking 6 hours add 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt mix well
Banana leaves
String to tie off banana leaves
If banana leaves are not available us plastic wrap to seal both ends of the bam boo before steam cooking. It is very important to pre-soak what ever type rice you're using. This will allow the to soften before steam cooking.
