Reference Line and Ledger Layout
We used a rotating laser level (a cheap kind of transit scope) to snap a level blue line at about 48" above the high point of the floor, all around the garage. Then we snapped another line at 47 and 3/8 inches below that, which represents where the top of the sleepers will go. We screwed a ledger into the wall above the sleeper line, and then scored it with a "compass" at a fixed height above the floor.Scribing a Sleeper
To get a rip line, we have to know the shape of the floor relative to our level reference. This sleeper is raised and leveled, and I use an awl to score the sleeper at a fixed height above the floor.
Saves memory settings from under the hood. Takes the place of traditional memory savers that use the power outlet, which no longer provides protection on newer vehicles since the outlet is switched. Without a battery attached, use the unique wire insulation-piercing tip on the red (positive clamp) to connect the memory saver to the main positive battery cable. Connect the black clamp to a ground source. The light will illuminate to indicate proper connection. Clamps can also be used on the back of the battery terminal connector. Connect a fully charged 9 volt battery (not included) and the vehicle is protected. Cord is 3 feet long.Similar posts:
