Mission Statement
As a coordinating body, the Residence Hall Association (RHA) at The University of Alabama provides a student channel for the UA residence hall and apartment communities to student affairs administrative offices – most importantly, Housing and Residential Communities (HRC). As such, we encourage creative thought with the empowerment of diversity; development of future campus leaders at the Capstone; membership in student housing organizations for state, regional and national recognition; evolutionary partnerships with other UA student organizations; and educational enhancement of a traditional college experience with programs that support wellness, safety, environmental awareness, social living, and shared learning.  

RHA will be an organization conducted in a productive and efficient manner in order to gain respect and prominence on the UA campus. We will handle diverse issues through the engagement and involvement of residents, who will be able to rely on RHA as their advocate.
