We bought this rug yesterday. It was nearly closing time and the men in the shop brought dozens of rugs for us to see. We hummed and hawed. I liked this one.... A liked another. We didn't have money to buy all and return what we didn't want. Finally the man said "Take it! Take them all and try and bring back what you don't want." We asked if we should leave a deposit. "No", he said, "I trust you. And if you don't bring it back then I shall not become poor and you will not become rich." What a great attitude! I was so touched that he let us leave with three of his beautiful rugs, no deposit, no address and he didn't even see our car to get a registration. We chose this one but we will look for others. The furniture is not ours, it was left in the apartment when we moved in and we are very grateful as we would have had absolutely nothing otherwise till our things arrive.. I bought the cushion covers though some may not stay exactly there. "The only way to make a man trustworthy is to trust him." ~ Henry Stimson, 1867-1950 ~
