The
Association has had many achievements over the years.The biggest
project has been the construction, through successful funding
applications, of the building housing Rascals PlayStation, a purpose-built child carecentre and the Enterprise Industrial units on the Enniskillen Road. Other projects have included : Some social issues that we have worked and lobbyed for include: Traffic calming measures on the Irvinestown Road. Transformation of the "The Commons" into a children's playground with fountain. Retention of High School grounds by Community/Primary School. Hanging baskets for decoration of village. Provision of a new car park which in which has been provided with paper and bottle bands for re-cycling. Winning the best kept village award on 3 occasions. Erection of attractive nameplates on the main approach road to the village. These bear the coat of arms of Sir Henry Folliott, who founded Ballinamallard early in the 17th century. Provision of a village Christmas tree and display of Christmas illuminations. The organizing of the Ballinamallard Festivals in 1998 and 1999 to raise funds for the Village Development.
