  • Although my 5 years at UCL were happy and productive, and I will miss many friends and the excellent academic environment, I have returned to Australia after 29 years in the UK.  My primary affiliation is now the University of Melbourne, where since Nov 2014 I have  been joint between BioSciences and Maths & Stats.  Currently I sit in Maths & Stats (details below). In the future I expect to also have space in a new Centre for Systems Genomics, which will be in the old Microbiology building on Royal Pde.  I retain an affiliation with UCL.

  • Together with Debbie Kennett, Mark Thomas and Adrian Timpson, I have developed a set of web pages under the heading "Debunking Genetic Astrology", aimed at highlighting misuses of genetic ancestry testing.  See
