Baker's Maple Syrup
We are a small Maine Maple Syrup Producer of syrup and maple sugar coated peanuts, located on the east branch of the Piscataquis River in Shirley, Maine. We are located 1,000 to 1,300 feet in elevation so our Maple Syrup Season starts later than the southern parts of the state. Charlie has been tapping (1,000+) trees on his families homestead property for 20 plus years. Our products are sold at the sugar-house, and the Gallery on the Lake in Greenville.
Maple Syrup Season is usually the 3rd week of March to the 3rd week of April. Maine Maple Sunday is always the 4th Sunday of March with an open house at Baker’s Maple Syrup with demonstrations, samples and tours all day. Check our web site for an additional open house with the Shirley Community Church Maple Brunch and Baker’s Open House.
