Community Ox Roast

Our 6th Annual Community Ox Roast is scheduled for Saturday August 5, 2017, at Centerville Mills Park, in Bainbridge township. Please check our website www.oxroast.org for details and online tickets!

Our 5th Annual Community Ox Roast was held on Saturday August 6th, 2016. Great food, and an afternoon of fun was had for many in attendance.  Centerville Mills Park provided the perfect setting for this family event. This years entertainment included great food, bounce house, human foosball, music and much more!

Proceeds from our Ox Roast support a Community Ox Roast Scholarship, the Bainbridge Area Food for Friends food pantry and community programs.   
The Community Ox Roast showcases our many community organizations as well as bring the community together to share in a great day of fun.  The day is geared for all ages.

Checkout some of our photos below.  The roasts are double wrapped and seasoned with 'Dave's' Special recipe, and slow cooked in our 'Ground ovens' for over 10 hours!  Its the best roast beef you have ever tasted!   In addition to the beef.. we have had some great corn on the cob provided by Sirnas!  and don't forget about the great baked beans.. 5 types of beans go into the recipe.. did you know we make over 25 gallons of beans! and cook over 700 pounds of beef!!

The Community Ox Roast is a great way for our many community organizations to showcase what they are all about, as well as bring the community together to share in a great day of fun.  The day is geared for all ages.  Look forward to great food, and fun, at Centerville mills next year!
Our dinner consists of a generous portion of sliced roast beef, baked beans, Sirna's corn on the cob fresh picked,  dinner role, side salad and one drink.   A children's meal consists of a hot dog, and macaroni and cheese or chips and a drink.  Check out the photos below.  Individual roasts are double wrapped and cooked overnight in our ground oven!  You have never tasted beef so good!
