In 2011 the BACS Conference will be held at the University of Birmingham. The campus is 2 miles from the city centre, in landscaped grounds, with its own railway station linking it directly to Birmingham New Street. Conference accommodation will be in a choice of single en-suite rooms, or single rooms with shared bathrooms, a short walk from the Business School, where sessions will take place.

Campus attractions include the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, with works by Degas, Monet, Manet and Botticelli, a sculpture trail, and the Lapworth Museum of Geology, one of the oldest specialist geological museums in the UK, while Winterbourne House and Botanic Garden offers one of the best surviving examples of an Edwardian Arts and Crafts suburban residence.
