Do I need to submit my conference paper in advance?

No, we only publish abstracts, so you don't need to send your paper in before the conference. Some presenters like to bring copies of their papers, in case they are asked for one after their presentation - if you think you would like to do this, it's wise to prepare copies in advance and bring them with you, as it may be difficult to arrange photocopying: twenty copies should be sufficient. If you don't want to weigh yourself down with lots of copies, you can always take email addresses and send a copy later, of course.
