The past week was fulfilling. The nanny is away, it was most just Amanda and I in the day. We play, dance and nap (I never nap when the nanny is around but I needed to replenish for the evening.) Which I conveniently leave it to the nanny sometimes. We also watch her DVDs together and she watches my TV drama with me, after I told her that Elmo / Barney / Teletubbies are asleep. Amanda is at her adorable stage, where she repeats after us. She thinks that anything pink or red are hers and that blues are for her ?? / boys. And oh! She says ???? dances whenever she wants to and won't stop. She is also back to clinging on to me like how she was when she was a baby. We would sit next to each other on the sofa, her lying on me and holding my hands. If I am at the computer desk, she would want me to carry and sit with me. We shopped online together and she would point to the toy and say ????? (Mummy buy one) or choose the color of the ballet shoe I am getting her for fun. Which was red. When evening comes, and after a home-cooked dinner of millet porridge for Amanda. Amanda would play with others kids in the estate with us running after her most of the time. She hardly walks and is either running or jumping. She is very active at the fitness area, climbing up and down the fitness equipments.

Had a choir pictures taken today during school. Went home and then hit up LA Fitness, 10 minutes into my work out I see Matthew, he said he forgot his shorts in Femi's car so we drive back near my house to get the shorts and they weren't in there. We then made our way to Alex's house to get boxing gloves and back to Cascade High School, where Matthew's shorts were really at. Hit up LA Fitness again, Matthew and I did some boxing drills and I pretty much tore my left pinky knuckle so it doesn't look like I'm going to be hitting the back for 2 - 3 weeks which sucks. Left LA Fitness to hit up Walmart to buy a beanie for my dad and headphones for my studio along with some brand new gatorade Matthew found. Before I took Matthew home I stopped by my house to see if my mic came...yes...it finally came! I was so happy all I need now is the Microphone Chord, Microphone stand and the pop filter then I'm good to go. I should get the rest of the equipment tomorrow. January 9, 2008
