Spring Registration is open! Register online! See instructions below.

If (1) your child played in the fall and (2) you are paying online, you are not required to attend a registration event. Otherwise, you must come to one of the events.

There will only be 2 registration events this spring. Don't miss out!

Event 1: Saturday, February 13, 10pm - 2pm at Crosswinds Church
Event 2: Saturday, February 27, 10pm - 2pm at Crosswinds Church
Unified Practices begin: Week of Feb 29
Team Practices begin: Week of March 21
Games begin: April 2

There will be no player evaluations at either registration even. We will have Unified Practices instead of team practices for the first 2 weeks of the season. These will be part of the regular season and allow players to play short-sided games and have fun while new coaches help conduct the practices and evaluate the players. Teams will be formed in the second week of unified practices. Unified Practices are mandatory for all U8-U12 players.

We are starting a VIP (Very Important Player) program for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities. If you want to register a VIP player, follow the instructions below, but also email vip@ayso894.net and let us know so we can make sure you are taken care of.

We are also looking for VIP volunteers and buddies as well as coaches. We will provide training for all volunteers for free. More info can be found on our website here: http://ayso894.net/programs/vip

The Spring fee is $35 per player.

To ensure that every kid gets to play, please consider becoming a coach, referee, field volunteer or even a board member! We can not have a successful program without volunteers. No previous training is required. Volunteer training programs for all levels is provided for free!

After your players are registered, please take them to the Crosswinds soccer field (across the parking lot) and allow them to play soccer so they can be evaluated.
  • 4-5 years old (U5-U6) – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • 6-9 years old (U8-U10) – 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • 10-13 years old (U12-U14) – 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
  • 14 years old (U16) and up – 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
A Unified Practice allows coaches to evaluate player's skills during soccer play and use that information to better balance teams. Balanced teams is one of AYSO's 6 philosophies and is very important to us!

What to bring: Water/Drink, shin guards, cleats and comfortable soccer clothes.

Format: Players will participate in short sided games for evaluations. There will be no drills or races. The players should just be there to have FUN and play soccer!

  • Players that show up at a practice other than the designated time will still be evaluated with a different age group but their evaluation will be more accurate if they are playing with children closer to their age.
  • Players are NOT required to stay for the entire evaluation period.
  • Players MUST be registered prior to participating in a unified practice. Participation in a unified practice is not equivalent to registration.
  • Unified practices are NOT tryouts. All players will be placed on a team regardless of their performance at the unified practice.
Thank you for being a part of the AYSO Monrovia/Harvest/Toney Region!
