Please read the following instructions carefully.

AYSO is using a new on-line registration web site starting this season. This will require the creation of a new account and the player information will need to be entered - the old account and player information from eAYSO was not copied over to the new system.

Registration is open for the Fall 2017 season.

The AYSO Nation Organization has several changes that are effective starting with the 2017 fall season.

The first change is the playing age calculation. AYSO now goes by the birth-year of a player, and is based on the age of the player as of December 31st of the next year. The exception to this rule is any division below the 6U division (more information below).

The change from an age calculation based on July 31st to December 31st will mean that, for this season, some players will only play one year in their previous age division. For example, someone that moved up to U8 last year and has a birthday of August 1st, would have still been in U8 this season if the age calculation had not changed. However, the player will now be in the 10U division.

The second change is how the age divisions are defined and the division names. The age divisions (again, for 6U and above, the age shown reflects their age at the end of the next year) are now:
  • Playground soccer: 3 - 4 years old (must be at least 3 years old by the start of the fall season)
  • 6U: 5 - 6 years old
  • 8U: 7 - 8 years old
  • 10U: 9 - 10 years old
  • 12U: 11 - 12 years old
  • 14U: 13 - 14 years old
  • 16U: 15 - 16 years old
  • 18U: 17 - 18 years old
The registration system will automatically determine the age division for the players.

More information regarding playing age can be found on the National AYSO website here.

AYSO has partnered with Blue Sombrero to handle all registrations (player and volunteer). Account, player and volunteer information was not copied over from the eAYSO system, except for volunteer certifications (training certifications, such as coach training, referee training, board member training, etc.).

The process is:
  1. Preregister online at http://ayso.bluesombrero.com/ayso256 (you MUST include /ayso256 in the URL in order to have your account associated with our region otherwise your child will be registered in the wrong region and will not appear on our list of registered players). You will first need to create an account, entering your information. You only need to create an account once.
  2. You will then enter the information for each of your players (the system calls them participants)
  3. Print a copy of the registration application of each player
  4. Complete the registration process by bringing the copy of each player's form to one of the on-site registration processing events. If you did not pay on-line, we only accept cash or a credit/debit card - we no longer accept checks. A verification of the player's age will also done by looking at their birth certificate - we do not keep a copy, we only use it for age verification

PLEASE NOTE: Your player's application will not be fully processed until payment has been received. This means you will not receive emails about open practices or other important dates and information until the application and payment is received

Up through the end of July, $100 PLUS your volunteer help gets your player a uniform and up to 10 weeks of play (games and practices!). During August, the registration fee goes up to $125. After August the fee is $150.
