  • Research Workshop on the "Measurement in Customs and Tax Administrations in Developing and Emerging Countries"
    March 2012, 5-6, Algiers
Co-organized by the Algerian Customs, the World Customs Organization and the World Bank.
 
This workshop aims both at promoting applied research on existing measurement tools and/or experiments conducted by customs and tax administrations, international organizations and donors, as well as deepening the analysis of measurement as a technique of government, as it applies to tax, with the help of several disciplines (anthropology, law, economics, history, political science and sociology).
 
The deadline for replies is November 1st, 2011.
