Sarah as Arisa Uotani at Manifest
In the costume I made for her. It combines two basic patterns - a bias-cut skirt (to which I then had to add pinch pleats because Sarah doesn't have much of a waist yet at 13) and a simple three-quarter sleeve v-neck top to which I added the detailing at the hem in cuffsn in white cotton lawn. The sailor collar is more of the white cotton with blue ribbon sewn straight on. The blue fabric is some kind of stretchy synthetic. I have no idea what - I was just so happy it draped a little and was lightweight.
