The Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program is a ten week summer research opportunity for undergraduate juniors and seniors, and graduate students, under the guidance of a mentor, at a participating Navy Laboratory. U.S. citizenship may be required; permanent residents are accepted at certain labs.

Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs)

This NSF-sponsored program provides undergraduates the opportunity to participate first-hand in research projects. REU programs take place during the summer in locations all over the country. Students are granted stipends, and in some cases assistance with housing and travel. Students who are in those groups traditionally under-represented in science (women, members of under-represented minorities, and those with disabilities) are particularly urged to apply.
