Jan. 26th: Chicken Tikka Masala
After trying chicken tikka masala for the first time two weeks ago, I couldn't stop thinking about it. A few days later, I made it at home, using a recipe from Cook's Illustrated. I thought it was good, but not as good (or spicy) as at the Indian restaurant. My friend had a different take. He declared my dish "the greatest thing ever." My husband even liked it. I made it again for dinner tonight. It's pretty simple, and it's a good dish for Indian food-phobes to try Indian cuisine... even though this particular dish was created in London.
